1. Our Approach to Combat Modern Slavery

SCANDIC CARS considers respect for human rights to be a fundamental component of corporate governance. Our guiding principles – integrity, technological sovereignty, and responsibility – determine our actions. We tolerate no form of modern slavery and are committed to uncovering and eliminating abuses within our value chains.

2. Supply Chain and Risk Management

We conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks of modern slavery. In cases of elevated risk, enhanced due diligence is performed. Suppliers are required to sign a code of conduct that includes human rights standards, fair working conditions, and environmental protection requirements. We monitor compliance and conduct audits.

3. Expectations for Business Partners

Our business partners must follow our standards and contractually ensure that no forced or child labor is used. In the event of violations, we take consistent measures, including the termination of cooperation. We prefer suppliers who make their own supply chains transparent and continuously work on improvements.

4. Training and Awareness

Employees of SCANDIC CARS are trained on the risks of modern slavery. The goal is to raise awareness and clearly define responsibilities. Training covers legal foundations, indicators, and reporting procedures.

5. Whistleblowing and Remediation Processes

Our whistleblowing system allows employees and third parties to report violations confidentially. Reports are thoroughly investigated; affected persons are protected from retaliation. Remediation processes include the development and implementation of measures to correct identified issues.

6. Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

We monitor the effectiveness of our measures through key indicators and audits. Results are analyzed and used to improve processes. This statement is reviewed annually and updated as necessary.
