Our AI ethics are based on clear core values and guiding principles. These apply to all business areas and guide the entire lifecycle of AI systems—from development and procurement to deployment. We are committed to integrity, respect for human rights, transparency, accountability, and innovation for the benefit of society.
Responsibility for AI projects lies with the management of SCANDIC TRUST GROUP LLC. There is an interdisciplinary committee of experts in technology, law, data protection, ethics, and security. This committee approves projects, monitors implementation, and ensures that policies are followed. External experts are consulted as needed.
AI systems require high-quality data. We ensure that data are collected, processed, and stored lawfully. Anonymization or pseudonymization, minimization of datasets, and clear retention periods are key measures. Processing is based on a legal basis and takes place only for specific purposes. Data subject rights are guaranteed.
We inform users when they interact with an AI system. Models are designed so that decisions can be traced and explained. Documentation obligations include data sources, training methods, model architectures, and evaluation results.
